El tramo uno de la ruta corresponde a la sección norte de la carretera Austral en la región de Aysén, con foco en las localidades de La Junta, Puerto Raúl Marín Balmaceda, Lago Verde, Puyuhuapi, Puerto Cisnes y las localidades insulares de Puerto Gaviota y Gala en el Parque Nacional Isla Magdalena. Se trata de una zona prodigiosa en recursos naturales, donde se entremezclan la espectacularidad de los cordones montañosos, la presencia de numerosos ventisqueros, ríos, lagos, lagunas, bosques siempre verdes y centros termales junto a la riqueza de los canales y estuarios marinos en el sector costero.
Section one of the route corresponds to the northern section of the Austral highway in the Aysén region, with a focus on the towns of La Junta, Puerto Raúl Marín Balmaceda, Lago Verde, Puyuhuapi, Puerto Cisnes and the island towns of Puerto Gaviota and Gala in the Magdalena Island National Park. It is a prodigious area in natural resources, where the spectacular nature of the mountain, ranges intermingles with the presence of numerous snowdrifts, rivers, lakes, lagoons and evergreen forests, thermal centers along with the richness of the channels and marine estuaries located in the coastal sector.
